Investing In Our Future

We strive to continually offer special opportunities for the youth in our communities to develop leadership skills and further their education.

Scholarships

Each year, STRATA provides financial assistance for local students pursuing higher education with commitments to rural communities, to support those wishing to pursue advanced training in career preparation, and to encourage emphasis for careers in telecommunications or any other field which would enhance rural development in the Uintah Basin.

URECA Leadership Challenge

As a partner with other rural cooperatives across the state of Utah, each year we sponsor a group of high school juniors to attend the URECA Youth Leadership Challenge at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. Students learn leadership skills, meet other students from around the state, and learn about how cooperatives, like STRATA, function.

FRS Washington, DC Tour

Every summer, we have the privilege of sponsoring a group of high school students, ages 16-17, to attend the Foundations for Rural Service Tour in Washington D.C. While there, high school students across America learn more about rural telecommunications while exploring the nation's capital.

Youth Brand Ambassadors

Join the STRATA Networks team as a Youth Brand Ambassador for an opportunity to gain real-world work experience, earn money, and have a good time with other youth in the community while doing it.
